How to: Remove dual-boot options

If you have recently installed a second operating system on your computer (for example, added Win XP to a Windows 98 PC) then you may find that you have two boot options when you start yor computer. At first it may seem that there is no way to change this (or the time delay whilst the choice is made), but on further investigation it can be changed by:

right-click on My Computer, select Properties.
select the Advanced tab.
select Settings under Startup and Recovery.
select the required default operating system and uncheck the “Time to display list of operating systems” box.
click OK & you’re done!
