I would recommend that you look into a wireless keyboard and mouse because of unprecedented level of desktop freedom that they provide and the price for as low as $29.99. You won't have to worry about all those cords any more if you decide to go wireless.
The price difference between wireless and input devices with cords is amazingly small. I guess that wireless input devices are becoming very common, which is a thing to expect, considering how much better it is when you don't have to worry about all those cords cramming your precious work space.
